An eye behind the Kinect Camp
One month ago we gave our first formation on Kinect. A true opportunity for young developers and artists to show what they are made of when it comes to be innovative with some new technology, here the Microsoft Kinect camera (on PC).
In one week they created two games that were played at the VIA festival on giant screens in Mons, Belgium by hundreds of people. That’s not a cheap achievement!
You can find on our Youtube channel a short backstage movie of this first Kinect Camp (in French):
This post is also the right moment to give the developers a little bit of credits for that. In the developers team there was:
David Cayarga – Quentin Chevalier – Jeremy Harris – Benoit Hoessen – Michael Hoste – Grégory Houben – Antoine Marot – Thibault Sana – Olivier van den Biggelaar – Nicolas Witmeur.
The games would never be what there are now without the assets produced by the artistic team (and their ideas to challenge the original concept… for a better one):
Jordan Caprasse – Emilie Grumiaux – Eric Henrion – Aurélien Rocteur.
We definitely hope this kind of event will happen again in the future.
